Lekin NRG sirf naye plants banane tak limited nahi hai. Company ka focus hai ki America ke "dumb power grid" ko smart banaya jaye. Yani better technology aur efficiency ke saath grid ko upgrade karna.
Smart grid aur virtual power plants ka role
Yahan par demand-response programs aur "virtual power plants" ka concept aata hai. Iska matlab hai ki industrial users aur residential customers dono ko convince kiya jayega ki woh peak demand ke time apne thermostats ko AI ke hawal kar dein. Agar unke paas extra renewable energy hai toh woh wapas grid ko de sakte hain.

NRG ka plan dono cheezein balance karta hai — naye plants se AI ko power milegi aur smart grid se aapke bill kam honge.
Lekin sawaal yeh hai ki kya log apne thermostats ka control AI ko dena chahenge? Yeh ek behavioral challenge hai. Agar NRG ise sahi tarike se implement kare toh yeh ek win-win situation ho sakti hai.
