Elon Musk ki social media company X ka naya messaging app ab launch hone wala hai. App 'XChat' ka listing Apple ke App Store par dikh gaya hai. Listing ke mutabiq, yeh app 17 April, 2026 ko download ke liye available ho sakta hai. Engadget ne iski report kiya hai. XChat sirf X (pehle Twitter) ke users ke liye banaya gaya hai aur yeh WhatsApp, Telegram jaise popular messaging apps se direct competition mein aane wala hai.
XChat Kya Hai Aur Kaise Kaam Karega?
XChat ek alag standalone messaging app hai. Iska matlab hai aapko isko alag se download karna hoga. Lekin, yeh app aapke existing X account se hi connect hoga. TechCrunch ke reports ke mutabiq, X ne ise pehle June 2025 mein beta test karna shuru kiya tha. XChat ka basic idea yeh hai ki aap X par jisse bhi follow karte hain, unse easily secure chat kar saken, bina phone number share kiye.
Company ke claims ke hisaab se, XChat ki khaas features yeh hongi:
- End-to-End Encryption: Company ka kehna hai ki messages aapke aur receiver ke device ke beech hi encrypt rahenge.
- File Sharing: Photos, videos, aur documents share karne ki facility.
- Voice Messages: WhatsApp ki tarah voice messages bhejna.
- Group Chats: Multiple logon ke saath group banakar baat cheet.
The Times of India ki report ke mutabiq, yeh app pehle iOS aur Web version par aayega. Android version baad mein launch hoga.
“Secure” Claim Par Experts Ke Sawaal
XChat ke launch se pehle hi iski security ko lekar sawaal uth rahe hain. Elon Musk ne June 2025 mein announce kiya tha ki XChat sabke liye roll out ho raha hai. Lekin, experts iske “end-to-end encryption” ke claim par doubt jata rahe hain. TechCrunch ne September 2025 mein ek detailed report di thi.
“X is now offering me end-to-end encrypted chat — you probably shouldn’t trust it yet.” — TechCrunch
Experts ka kehna hai ki encryption ka code open-source nahi hai. Matlab, independent security researchers isko check nahi kar sakte ki yeh kitna safe hai. Signal aur Telegram jaise apps apna code open-source rakhti hain, jisse unki security verify hoti hai. XChat ke saath aisa nahi hai.
Dusra bada sawaal X company ki privacy policy ka hai. X ka business model hi data collection par based hai. Aisa ho sakta hai ki XChat ke metadata (jaise aap kis se baat kar rahe hain, kab kar rahe hain) ko company track kare, chahe messages encrypt bhi hon.
WhatsApp Aur Telegram Par Kya Asar Padega?
Analytics Insight jaise reports ise WhatsApp ka direct competitor bata rahi hain. Lekin seedhi baat yeh hai ki WhatsApp India aur duniya bhar mein ek monopoly jaisa ban chuka hai. Log apne family, friends, aur office groups sab kuch WhatsApp par hi karte hain.
XChat ki shuruat mein sabse bada challenge yehi hoga ki log apna existing network chhodkar naye app par kyun aayenge. Elon Musk ka fanbase bada hai, isliye shayad pehle din hi downloads acche honge. Lekin long-term success ke liye app ko genuinely better, secure, aur private hona hoga. Telegram ne apni strong encryption aur feature-rich platform se ek alag user base bana li hai. XChat ko bhi wahi karna hoga.
Hamaari Baat: Dhyan Se, Kyunki Musk Ka Track Record Clear Nahi Hai
Seedha point of view dein toh, XChat ko le kar excited hone se pehle thoda ruk jana chahiye. Elon Musk bahut bade promises karte hain, lekin X (Twitter) ko unhone jis tarah se acquire kiya aur uski verification, policy changes ki hain, usse trust issue paida hota hai.
Agar aap privacy ko seriously lete hain, toh abhi ke liye Signal jaise proven app behtar option hain. Agar aap Musk ke fan hain ya X par heavily active hain, toh XChat try kar sakte hain casual chats ke liye. Lekin isme abhi bank details, personal documents, ya koi highly private baat share karna theek nahi hoga. App launch hone ke baad independent security audits ki reports ka intezar karein.
Final baat yeh hai ki messaging app market mein competition accha hai. Lekin naya app launch karna aur logon ko permanently apne platform par le aana, dono alag baatein hain. XChat ka test asli mein tab shuru hoga jab log isme apna primary family group banayenge.
